Chateau Mcely is situated in the rural area of the St George Forest in the north-eastern part of Central Bohemia.

It is an hour drive from Prague's Old Town or half an hour from the edge of Prague. Of course we can arrange transport directly from the airport. The nearest large towns are Nymburk, Mladá Boleslav and Poděbrady.

The whole region is part of "the Golden Belt of Polabi". Polabi itself is the area around the Labe (aka Elbe) river and extends to Hamburg in Germany.

Prague Airport is the main terminus for international travelers coming to Mcely. You can then rent a car or if you let us know your flight details, we can arrange a private chauffeured car to meet you at the airport and take you straight here.

mcely and chateauWe are approximately 2 hours by public transport. From Prague Masarykovo station, you take a train to Nymburk where you can then catch a local bus to Mcely village. Let us know when you are on the bus and we will send a car to collect you from the village. See vlak.cz for more information.
